Leadership Exemplar Criteria
The following is the information required for application to this designation.
Distinguished Fellows who meet the criteria will be determined by the Leadership Saratoga Advisory Board and the Leadership Saratoga Alumni Board.
Applicant must be a Leadership Saratoga alumna/ae who is at least six years past his/her graduation from the program.
Applicant must be able to demonstrate a significant amount of volunteer leadership service over a number of years with a number of non-profit or public service boards.
Applicant must have served on at least two boards in volunteer leadership positions and been involved in at least one organization servingSaratogaCountycitizens in a significant, pivotal volunteer leadership role for a total of at least six years after graduation from the Leadership Saratoga program.
Attend six Advanced Leadership seminars.
After completing the prequisites, the applicant or nominating individual must complete and submit an application that includes:
- A list of volunteer organizations and/or boards within SaratogaCountyin which he/she has held served in leadership positions, including time periods and positions/roles in the organization and/or on board.
- An explanation of how the applicant believes he/she has significantly contributed to and/or transformed one or more of the organizations in which he/she has volunteered.
